Dang.....that sucks. Thatz the definition of stripped. Did he have alarm, how did they steal it?

Alarm was some "python", no glass mic sensor...the front driver side window seemed to be punched in..so they probably got in thru there. They really wanted to steal it that nite...I guess they succeeded..even if his alarm was fully armed...that sucks!

It's sad but that's how they usually end up... Should've wired up a secondary anti-theft measure, like disabling the ECU and fuel pump.

wow that's nuts. How long was it missing? I'm shocked they didn't take the steering wheel. That with the airbag is a couple hundred bucks.

Speaking of alarm and anti-theft measures... are stock alarm and immobilizer on our TSX enough?? (disregarding the steal with a flatbed approach)

To be real .. that car is striped after 4 hours that it was stolen. They took the motor for the head. The block isnt worth much as they have vin # on them. Mosltikely doing a LS/VTec .. unles they punch out the vin#. Other than that .. all the parts are not really tranceable. BUmpers have vins on them .. but those can be taken off and be concidered aftermarket replacement. only traceable is the motor .. and it's rare that it'll get traced.

Sorry to hear your/your friend's loss. I had a Teg too and it was stripped once and stolen twice. AUTOLOCK helps to deter theifs alot. BUt if they want your car .. nothing can stop a FLATBED.

Sorry for your loss, I haven't seen a strip like that in years (used to tow in Metro St. Louis area).

I hope those fuckers burn for that one!

Look at the bracket located at top center of the firewall. Looks like they took the alarm siren too!

You should try and get the shell back from the insurance company. You could probably make a few bucks off it. Buy someone elses stolen motor if anything.
