Farewell ye ole warranty…farewell my friend!
Well the time has come for me to say adios to ye ole factory warranty. On the way home from the Seahawks game on Sunday, Nikki surpassed her mileage warranty cut-off. I apologize if I seem a little bit emotional, but we had a great 18month relationship. Ye ole warranty supplied me with a free break job due to warped rotors, but she will provide no longer. As we part ways Nikki will now focus her sights on being one of the first of many “Million Mile TSXs” in the world. I have many pleasurable memories during the warranty period such as showing her in HIN, joining the TSX 500mile club, Acurazine meets, trips to BC, snowboarding, 8-12Kmile oil changes , etc etc… The list goes on, but I feel tears welling up so I should stop. I just wanted to share this with others that might be able to sympathize with me. Sniff….sniff……
On another note, I have no reason not just mod the crap out of her now.... well other than not having an endless supply of cash!

When I bought my car at 43,000km I got the extended warranty to 130K just to be on the safe side. Almost a year of owning the car and I'm already halfway into the warrantly milage cut off.

Let me help you!
lol, i do hope the misspellings were purposely done haha
I got the extended warranty mostly because they told me basically that modern cars are very sophisticated and that it's practically a moving computer. But I think it really doesn't cover that much of the electronics...
I want to fix up my car, but I've never had a car with warranty before so I don't want to have it voided (yes, I know they have to prove that the aftermarket part was the cause of the failure, but I don't want the hassle). I'll be so glad when I join the expired warranty club lol...but that won't happen for a long time (I believe it's a 7 year/75k warranty...I got a discount because I said I wouldn't be driving the TSX much...I only need 8 miles a day, and I still have my accord)

When I first read your thread title, I thought you were going to get rid of your TSX.
Hey Jlukja, I bought my TSX a few weeks before you did on Dec. 15, 2003. I'm almost at 35K miles.
