does the K&N drop in filter lose lower end torque or just cai?

noob question just like the title

does the K&N drop in filter lose lower end torque or just cai?

should i just stick with paper filter unless im gonna do CT icebox or resonator blah blah......

i dont have the dyno charts to back me up, but im pretty sure the K&N wont lose you any low end power in your stock airbox. the loss of power from the CAI is due to the absence of the airbox, not anything to do with the filter

I didn;t notice any, to date my favorite setup for our at has been k&N no resonators and a 6.5 to 3 inch velocity stack in the fender well. the intake is fairly high and it didn't loose anything down low.

the k&n filter gives you 4.3 hp it not really noticable but it definitly does not lower hp or torque
