Do you need to be the owner when you take the car in for TSB fixes???

Well, exactly what I'm saying is, the car is under my mom's name. I am the primary driver on my '05 TSX. There's is the infamous "ticking" issue with the passenger dash which I've researched on acurazine that its the windshield moldings.

anyways, would my mom need to show up to "sign" for crap? or can i just say...order the parts for me, i'll return xxx date, and you can do it on the spot...

i heard it doesn't take that long?? i mean, its just replacing moldings and the clips...right?

You are the representative owner of the car, if that makes any sense. I don't think you'd have any problem. Besides, if you weren't the one bringing it in, she would, so either way the dealer has 1 car to fix, not 2.

Agreed...it doesn't matter who owns the car at all.

I do believe that would only apply for TSBs/Recalls, as any maintenance that would require payment for services, the dealership may need someone liable/to pay for the work performed.

wait wait, can someone also answer this.... do you NEED To be able to reproduce the problem at the dealership in order for them to fix it or do the TSB?

the TSB service bulletin says the problem can only be reproduced in cold weather. and yes its true, the problem only comes out for me at night if i park my car outside in the cold then go driving around.... the windshield just rattles, 'tick' 'tick' 'tick'.......
