Clutch Slipping

Hey guys, I have my other post a few down about the used TSX I just got with 74k miles. I love this car but after 300 miles the clutch is slipping pretty bad. I'm 19 and have driven standards for 3 and a half years, so I know how to drive clutch and I have certainly not abused this car at all for the 300 miles I've had it. If i accelerate very slow and keep rpms under 3,500 I can drive perfectly fine, if i give it more than 50% gas and the rpms are around 3k, the engine will rev up to 5-5.5k and the car will not go faster, then I left off the gas and the rpms drop back down to the where they should be at 3k. I am 99.99% positive this is the clutch slipping..... right? I will be bringing it to a mechanic tomorrow to verify it is the clutch but I'm just kinda depressed about this because i just paid 11k cash for the car that I've been saving up for a very long time...... The used car dealership that sold it to me was refusing to do anything for me, stating the car was fine and the driver is the problem. He finally told me he would pay for the parts but labor will not be cheap I am assuming. I bought the car in Massachusetts who are pretty strict with the "Lemon Law" but I'm not sure if this will fall under that. What do you guys think? I'll let you all know how it goes at the mechanic tomorrow.

Well, It is the clutch and good news! The dealer offered to do the whole job for free after talking about it with him again - So I'm very happy

It's a good thing that the dealer is doing this for you. I happen to think that you paid huge money for the car, but as long as you're happy, it's hard to put a price on that.
