Bluetooth upgrade 2006 TSX with Nav

I have a 2006 TSX with Navi and I was wondering it the inbuilt Bluetooth can be upgraded ?
With the newer phones I see the BT connections are inconsistent and frustrating. Has anyone tried to upgrade ?
Any suggestions ?

I've had my 06 TSX w/ navi since new and I don't think there is a bluetooth update? The TSX is handed down to my college son and he has one iPhone 6S paired. I've always had pairing issue in the past with old and no longer being used still paired; especially, phones from other makers. I couldn't get my personal iphone 3S and work Blackberry to stay pairs or work consistently for more than 1-2 days. Ended up just dropping my work phone from pair. Gone 100% iphone and haven't had an issue going back to 4S days.
