Hello,

I have a question for those who know a bit about car audio. So I bought 3 different head units in the past week thinking I got a bad one since there is a high pitch whine (not rpm's since the car is off). I thought it was the unit and kept returning them.

Come to find out after research it's because of the factory amp and the built in amp on the head unit.

My questions:

1. Can I run speaker wire directly from the speaker to the wiring harness for the aftermarket head unit harness?

2. Where do I put the wires from the rear 6X9's that are suppose to bass only?

3. Is there a better way to do this?

4. Running the wires through the rear doors are going to be a pain aren't they?
