Anyone remove small door dings from inside the door panel?
I just got two small door dings on the rear driver-side door (same level as the door handle but located towards the front where the pillar is). Has anyone been successful in popping out small dings by taking apart the interior door panel? There is usually a lot of components within door panels so I'm wondering if I'll even have access to the ding itself.

I personally have not done so. I know that is how the pros do it, they use a small long tool that goes in the window gap and behind the sheet metal. They apply pressure to the ding and it lessens the impact, if not remove it completely. I would imagine with patience and persistence the same can be done with removal of all the interior panels.
Dents do stretch metal and if not fixed soon enough it can leave a permanent stretch. There are specific tools used by body shops that twist the metal to remove the stretch, but these require a skilled professional and eventually primer / filler and paint work.
My recommendation is take it to a shop, they usually remove dents like that for cheap. Good luck

I just checked all the local PDR shops in San Diego and looks like their quotes for small door dings starts at $75. Anyone know a cheap and reliable PDR shop in my area?
