Airbag
I've only had this car a few weeks and I'm already regretting it! Besides the noisiest shifting transmission that I've ever heard in my life ( trans shop tore it apart and said everything looked great) my airbag warning light was on, The code was front left crash sensor. I replaced that last night. Every time I disconnect the battery, the VSA warning comes on. I found the procedures on how to reset that, Now, less than 24 hrs later, I'm sitting in the drive thru and the Airbag warning comes on again. This time it says left side impact sensor (second). I cleared the code with a scanner and the light stayed off ( at least just sitting in the parking lot at an idle). Do these cars have electrical issues? Is it a coincidence that another sensor failed and if it failed, why was I able to reset it without it coming back on? Could it be wiring, and if it is, why did changing the front sensor get rid of that code? Experiences and opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

So sounds like there was an accident on this car before you bought it.

I can't find any signs of an accident on the car. I even checked the dealership where the lady had it serviced. Judging by all of her records, that's where she would have taken it.

It would help if you told us what year and transmission you have. There can be vast differences between the years and trans types.
