Search dude, unfortunately there is TONS of info on this due to so many people with the problem. I hope for your sake that it isn't the compressor, because that is $$$$.

It's up there, but I don't think you're having the same problem. Air will still blow through the vents if the compressor is blown. If you don't have any air blowing through the vents, it sounds like an issue with the cabin air fan (or whatever it's called). That would be an easier fix for sure.

Air will still slow even if compressor is broke? god i hope so....

Right now all the fan/vent in the cabin. NONE of them have air coming out of it.........any wild guess what this might be? thanks...

Geez that's weird, I don't think I've read about that specific problem on here yet. Maybe it isn't the compressor after all.

I don't have my service manual handy, but I bet it's just the cabin fan. I don't think it's on its own circuit, so I don't think it would be a fuse. It's not a complicated part so it wouldn't be that much to replace. I think it would be one of those things where the labor would be more than the part, but in either case, it's probably a couple hundred bucks tops.

It's best to just have your dealer troubleshoot it.

i would check the fuses and relay to the fan and anything around it to be sure your car should still be under warranty right?

Fuse 21 in the underhood fuse box is dedicated to the blower motor only, so that's the first thing to check. There's also a relay in the U/H fuse box. If you've got power available at the motor, it's either the power transistor (which provides a variable resistance ground to the motor to vary it's speed), or the climate control panel (which sends a signal to the transistor) or a wiring problem in between. Of course it could be the motor itself as well.

Don't think we've seen the transistor fail often on the TSX, but I have seen them fail on newer Civics/CRV's/Elements. Long story short, if you don't have the knowledge yourself, you need to have someone who does diagnose it properly.

Glad they were able to fix it relatively cheap, Howard.
