well i was unlucky enough to get nailed with a 4 pt speeding ticket in passaic nj. was going 71 in a 55mph zone.

anyway last time i got a 2 pt ticket 4 yrs ago i went to court and talked to the prosecuter and cut me a deal to plead guilty to another charge and get my 2 pts knocked off. obviously all courts want your money and will be willing to bargain with you.

my question is since it's a 4pt ticket should i just get a lawyer to help me get all the pts removed. i know couple people that have done this and they didn't even have to show up for court, the lawyer took care of everything. just your thoughts and opinions. im pretty sure if i go ill get at least 2 pts off myself, but i rather have them all off. i rather pay a lot now so i won't be paying for it for years on my insurance.
