2007 TSX Check Emissions System code 303

2007 TSX
I got a Check Emissions System light last night. Parts store hooked into the car and pulled a P303 code and said the 2 top causes were ignition coil (#3) and spark plugs. The car certainly feels like it's not running on all cylinders (couldn't resist). A few questions:

- Is .44 the correct spark plug gap?
- Standing at the front of the car, which one is number 3?
- If not a spark plug issue, can you replace just the 1 bad coil or should all be replaced at once?
- I see a wide price range for coils. Thoughts / recommendations.
- Any other thoughts for this code / issue?

Thanks

Spark plug gap is 39-43 mills.

No 3 is 3rd from your left. No 1 is next to timing cover.

Suggest swapping no 2 & 3 and see if problem moves t to No2. This would confirm a bad COP. I'm assuming you have a full time miss on No 3.. If you know how do a cylinder balance test on all 4 cylinders to check.

I would go OEM.

good luck

FIXED :

Changing spark plugs did nothing. I did an ohms test on all coils, all readings were pretty close in range. I then switched the coils around, unplugging and re-plugging the coil connectors. The problem followed the coil originally in slot 3. Replacement coil installed and car back to running great. I took out the under hood ECU fuse (#8) to reset the Check Emissions light. Yeah for the forum and Youtube.

How many miles do you have on the car?
Thanks for posting the fix
