2006 TSX or the 2006 IS

I have been toying with the idea to go for the TSX. But after the NYC Auto show, I saw the 2006 Lexus IS. Now I am very confused which car. Does anyone knows what enhancements the 2006 TSX will have.

Thank you.

Well I can tell you the difference will be at least $5k w/out navi. And from what I understand (since I looked at the IS300 myself before my recent purchase) the TSX navigation system blows the lex away. Besides the IS300s have been around for a while and are all over the place, the TSX is still new to the market and you don't see that many around.

CJams. An ALL-NEW IS is out this fall. Thats what he's asking about.

My best advice would be to wait til this fall to make a decesion. More info about both will be available by then.

Real world pricing on a new IS will likely be above sticker for a period immediately after the introduction. Then you'll see prices level out. Expect those prices to remain higher than the pricing on the TSX though.

I read gavril's post that there's going to be a 400hp IS500 coming out.

The IS250 will be priced competitively to the TSX but the IS300 will be much higher. Don't even ask what the IS500 will be because I'm sure it's in M3 territory.

About time Lexus got some balls. It better have something other than a Auto. Nothing pisses me off more than their SC430, a gorgous little car with a 300 hp V8 but with a Cadillac-like (the older ones) suspension and Auto tranny.
