Since its groundbreaking redesign in 2004, the Acura TL has solidified its place as both the top selling Acura and best-selling luxury sedan in the country. The TL comes equipped with a 3.2-liter, VTEC V-6 engine, a drive-by-wire throttle system, and an available close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential. For 2006, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System is added to the TL’s already long list of standard safety features as are two new exterior colors.

* Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
* Revised engine management system and steering angle sensor logic help reduce torque steer
* New Colors:
o Royal Blue Pearl replaces Abyss Blue Pearl
o Alabaster Silver Metallic replaces Satin Silver Metallic
o Deep Green Pearl discontinued

New horsepower/torque ratings: 258 horsepower SAE net (Rev 8/04) at 6200 rpm, 233 lbs-ft. of torque SAE net (Rev 8/04) at 5000 rpm

If the TSX MSRP goes up the same percentage was the TL's did then that'll put the 2006 TSX MSRP at $27,375 for a non-navi. BTW, I found conflicting numbers for 2005 TL MSRP so I used these .

Hopefully.
But the TSX got a lot more goodies than the TL did.
Power, memory seats, BT, Aux-in, new hood/grill/lights/rims/taillights/fogs, etc.

But think of the money saved using those new rims

We're talking about the TL.

Anyway rmatic. The engine is unchanged but the way its rated has changed. Honda has adopted the new SAE certified rating system and several of their vehicles ratings have changed.

RL goes from 300 to 290
RSX-S from 210 to 201
Ridegline from 255 to 244
etc...

Since the TSX's engine has changed its now rated at 205 which probly means it would have been rated at 212-215 under the old rating while the 04/05 TSX would be 192-195.

Both the Accord's 6 and 4 cylinder engines are now also more powerful (244/166) but would have been even higher under the old system.

In response to the original question on this thread, this might be a clue.....I'm having trouble loading up the interior interactive showroom on their website now. When I look down below where it shows the web address that its trying to load (in IE), it says the following:
www.acura.com/showroom/2006 /interior/int_main_tsx.html
It never comes up for me however so maybe within a day or two... Although based off of mine and a few others' delivery dates, it almost seems too soon to put that up for the TSX.

Actually, I just checked the exterior showroom and it works, even though the web address shows 2006, its displaying the 2005 exterior. Bet for now they just copied the same page code into the new 2006 directory for now.
