04 TSX to 08 Audi TT 2.0t Initial Impressions

Congrats with the purchase..and also good luck. We happen to own a 2004 A4 convertible ( we bought it brand new) that visited the dealership on many many occasions due to transmission, radio and other problems. Compared with my then 2005 TSX:
2005 TSX - No problems at all
A4 - Gazillion headaches
and yeah, we were provided an A6 as a loaner by the dealership. Congrats and goodluck again..

Great new car choice, we have a 2006 A4 2.0T, and we love the damn thing.
The 2.0T is a beast, and our A4 has been nearly problem free, just had to take it in for a Airbag light, and that was fixed, never came up again.
Welcome to the family!

Great choice of cars
Wow, lots of Audi bashing. I occasionally work for Audi USA doing special events and product training and got a chance to drive the TT about a year ago. Very fun car and Tinky described it very well. What I'm looking forward to is the S5 I get to play with in a couple of weeks.
I think leasing was a good idea, because, yes, quality isn't Audi's best asset compared to other marques.....but they have made great strides lately and Tinky should be quite surprised. Lord knows he had issues with his TSX. I on the otherhand only broke the center console handle and get moisture in the driver's side headlight...all in about 46,000 miles.
Even though I occasionally work for Audi, GMC, Pontiac, Toyota, Scion, Dodge, Chrysler, and Lincoln, I always look forward to coming home and driving my TSX

UPDATE!
I went in to get my flash yesterday, but GIAC was having some server issues and they were closed for the holidays so I am still stock.
I put my ITG panel filter put in. I decided to take the chance to do a quick block 120 vag-com dyno. A vag-com is a application/tool that interfaces with the OBD2 port. You can use it to log any value in the ECU. A Block 120 dyno is a calculated load rating from the ECU. It can determine how much torque it is creating due to timing/fuel/temperature/boost etc. So the resulting graph is a representation of engine HP/TQ and not at the wheels. These have proven to be very consistent with actual dyno output.(adjusted down for drivetrain losses). At the wheels this dyno would be about 187whp/190+wtq which is spot on with what gti 2.0ts dyno stock.
Hit the gas at 2500RPM and let off at 6500. The little turbo was fully spooled within 200 rpms.
I also posted a boost graph. After I get giac it will boost up to about 18psi and taper down to 8-9 psi at redline.
