windows windows grrrr

well even though i don't have money to spend on anything else but bumpers and fluid changes right now my windows have been bothering me and i wanted to make a post about it.

first off the front windows are suckass slow, would getting brand new oem window motors help? or would a different mod be better

second the rear windows suck because they won't go down all the way, is there a mod for that?

also when my front windows are only slightly lowered they make noise that sounds like they are gunna fall or something lol

so yeah there's my pissy post about the 1st gen's windows :P

if you take the door panels off the front doors and then spray the window tracks with WD-40 that helps a lot. i can confirm that because i raced that window against my other window, hah.

Don't use WD-40. WD-40 is a light lubricant that dries and leaves a film. Its good for ocassional use stuff like door hinges.

Get yourself some silicone spray lubricant or even better, a teflon based grease like Krytox.

Then, you'll probably not have to service the window for another 10 years.

The back windows wont go down all the way.

Why? Look at the shape of the door and the glass. The wheel well is in the way.
