why would the alarm have gone off ?
got home last night and parked the car as i usually do, turned the key off and pulled it out, then got out and closed the door but didn't lock it.
'bout an hour later went out and retreived something out of the center console. Again, got out, closed the door but didn't lock it. A few minutes later the alarm is going off, the lights are flashin' and the horning is beepin' ........ all with no one even close to the car. Had to run in the house and grab the key to shut if off. 1st I tried putting the key in the ignition to try and start the engine to shut off the alarm but that didn't work so then i pressed the lock/unlock buttons on the key fob. Anyone know what might have caused it to alarm when it wasn't even locked and with no one around to have triggered it ??? |
my guess would be someone elses key fob.
