That pic would fool anyone that just sees it for the first time and has never been on here. If someone looked and never was on this site they would think that that pic was from a car in Japan. Looks amazing.

^ & ^^ Thanks, guys! The sideskirts are painted now, too. So Undyroos, get those Lude rims back on so we can be twins again, one Japanese and one Californian, haha. I see you reading this!!

~Cheers~

P.S. My bumper lights are JDM now, too.

I was just thinking that as I was typing, haha. We'll see, as some stuff's come up and my money will be tied up elsewhere. Not going to spend too much on the car anymore. Well, at least not for now, and nothing that's not essential. I do need brakes and new shocks in the rear, though, so that might be taken care of all at once.

~Cheers~

I have a torch, and no I'm not letting you use it unless you can fix my alternator with it.

You know what? I'm ordering you to go to the junkyard tomorrow to get me an alternator. You heard me. Go. Bring me with you and buy me lunch.

I just got home now (04:45) because I died out on Franklin. After charging for 5 minutes every 10-20 blocks, I died out in Golden Gate Park, on Sloat, and on 280 luckily at an exit. I had to hit on the brakes (wasting precious energy powering the lights) from 90 because a 3000GT wouldn't let me merge, and I get stuck behind this guy because the 3000GT took the earlier exit. Imagine your lights blinking once, then shutting down on a stretch that has no lighting and you're going about 70-ish (VSS stopped working due to lack of power, CEL was on several times). All thanks to that Ford Fuckus that wouldn't get the fuck out of my way, driving 50 MPH. Luckily I managed to hit a gas station and my friend charged me up there, giving me time to buy cigarettes. Peeling out of the gas station on parking lights only doing 70 in a 30 around bends and up a fat hill to get home. That took me 2 hours to go what normally takes (me) 20 minutes. Arg.

~Cheers~

P.S. Destroyed a modded GSR (by two bus-lengths) and hung with a CL Type S (he was slowly pulling) running on battery only, with no gauge lights because the battery was too weak to power them.

Anyone else besides me think that it's not the alternator itself but the brushes that went bad? I had mentioned in other posts that some things have come up, here's a hint.

~Cheers~

P.S. My girlfriend's birthday today! Called her last night and talked for a little. She's on a company trip, ATM, and I swear, I'd love to work for her company!! They go to different countries for company vacations... ALL EXPENSES PAID.

Alt started working again. Right when I parked to go to dinner with a friend. Anyhow, someone crashed behind the Legion of Honour and I believe somebody died. An 04-05 Accord was in a tree, both bags deployed and cops everywhere. I saw the first ambulance pass me as I was parking, and when I took my friend to see the LoH after dinner, I left using the back road and saw the scene. It was some scary shit, the tree trunk was wider than the car. About 6 motorcycle cops and 3 or 4 squad cars, and the medical examiner. ME = death... RIP whomever you are...

That is crazy. This kid that I went to school with since I was little died almost 2 years ago because the car he was in went to fast around a corner and the car hit a telephone pole.

My friend's little sister was thrown from a car that dropped 20 feet from one side of the freeway to another, and another friend had his car opened like a can by a big rig, also throwing him onto the freeway. Search for "Highway 80 Airman Killed" and you can see photos of the scene. I nearly threw up from the shock of being able to see one of his shoes on the freeway... RIP Ngoc and Sean.

So it turns out not to be the alternator being bad... I finally got off my ass and looked underneath the car today, and the alternator output cable broke in two. I have three options now:

1) New engine harness, $800.
2) Build a new section from 0 or 2 gauge wire (possibly stronger than stock), $20-$30.
3) Fix it and sell my car, -$8000.

What should I do?

~Cheers~

lol, well the car is fixed now, it was like a $3 fix. He just got some copper connectors and crimped it on and hammered it onto the alternator. I also fixed his bumper parking lamp.

Well, the hammering was to get the connector on after drilling the hole a bit larger. Anyhow, now that that has been taken care of, I can add four more cars to my kill list, one that doesn't really count:

S13 w/SR20DET and BPU (This surprised me. I had even gone ahead and told my friend sitting with me that I was about to lose.)
Mustang 5.0
AP1 S2000
Lancer OZ Rally with a bunch of CF and rims, sus, BPU.

The AP2 S2000 was slowly pulling me at the end of each gear from a dig to 175km/h, so that doesn't count, and the CLS 500 was dead 3 car lengths back, not moving forward, not getting pulled.

I had fun tonight.

~Cheers~

Hehe, maybe, maybe not. We'll see... My cousin offered to buy it off of me. I feel bad because our uncle gave it to me for free with some issues, and now my cousin's willing to pay me $8000 for it.

So I've pretty much sold my car... A friend of mine is offering me what I was considering asking, although he's going to make payments on it.

Sorry if this comes as a shock to some, but I hinted at it quite a bit... One thing is that I told him that I'd buy it back from him in a little while. He recently crashed his car and since I won't be driving mine for awhile, I offered it to him. I will be guiding him in the future on what else to do to the car, so in a way, she won't be leaving me, haha, and I'll still be around here.

We'll be doing the brakes, shift solenoid, some interior work, some more engine work, and possibly exterior work, too. I had planned on a new exhaust system so that might be done if he's got the money, however the repairs have priority.

If anyone wants anything before I give it to him, I'm entertaining offers, haha. He might not be too happy but he hasn't paid me yet, . If the whole thing, then sure, you arrange my return flight and I'll drive it to you.

~Cheers~

P.S. Legend brake pads fit in the rear. They're a tad taller so they grind closer to the hat, but hey, that's more braking area. Junkyard, FTW.

I don't want to sell it, but I have no choice. Situation's come up where I have to sell everything and take off... I've decided to leave the Honda stuff on the car. I'm not sure what else is up, but I'm keeping it for another week, since I was able to reschedule my departure one more time.

^ Yeah, I'm going back. I don't want to be here anymore... If only there was a way for me to send this one person off-planet so I wouldn't have to deal with him, that'd be great, since his being on the other side of the planet isn't far enough...

So I finally got to sleep around 7 this morning, awoke a few times, got out of bed at 1:30. I feel like shit.
