i just took a gander at the pics...i didn't see any indication or a turbo or even a supercharger......or even an aftermarket air intake.....hmmmmm? =)

No such thing! He does not get into any specifics about what kind of turbo or anything like that....If it were a turbo to think he wouuld talk about some numbers

I wish Acura or comptech would make more performace parts for the TL, a supercharger or turbo. Especially for the '96 version. :p

nawww....it ain't my car, honest.....but i have been looking into it for awhile. prolly an intercooled T04 with all the electronics and valving, piping and various labor costs. might cost me 6-7k................................................ .................................................. .................................cha-ching$$$......

hey turboTL, can you give me some info about the turbo you're looking at. i'm trying to do research on turbos that might be able to be midified for our cars. thanks.

Basically if you have the bread, you can shove any turbo and intercooler into the engine bay. the piping and valving would have to be custom built. the car would be hung up for a couple of months, the radiator may have to be moved back to accomidate the intercooler, tha battery may have to be relocated to the trunk(for extra space) the electronics can be intergrated into the rather cavernous head unit bay. the glove box could be also used . this the guess-timate pricing that i have obtained so far

Greddy Intercooler $1000 (used)
Greddy AVEC-R $650 (new)
Turbonetics Wastegate $300 (new)
Greddy Blow-Off Valve $300-450 depending on model used
Various labor Miscellaneous parts $2000-$3000
Mashing some punk Civic into the pavement......priceless..
