im hating the cost but its just what i want to do.. Besides, as far as my oppinion goes, building a nice car lies in originality. Having a car that few modify or see modified helps with that aspect. The other main strentgh is the ideas that go into building it..

im going for the whole concept car animated bizaree look. Not something from a rap video.

Where can i find canovers at who wont want to give me a poison ivy juice colonoscopy for them?

Got any recommendations on a body shop in the OC area?

I can't wait to see your car done colt. It seemed like after the 3rd gen came out modded 1st gens were dying out. Your plans for the car make me come back here to check on the forum.

replace my jacked up front speakers, and hopefully save enough money for some new shoes by the end of the summer...also possible put a solid black piece of vinyl over my heat matrix............also would like a new paint job and get rid of some hail damage, but i have no clue the cost.

hey Art... how is all... yeah work has been kicking my butt... and so tired when i get home the last thing i want to do is sit in front of a comp again when i just did it for 10+ hours...

yes they have been ordered... i think the cheapest i found them were $107.XX loaded with pads... and $87 without the pads... those prices are each... they will arrive on the 13th...

i also ended up ordering Rotora slotted rotors at $187 shipped for the pair... hopefully shipped out tomm...

i will look on ebay tonight for some SS Brake Lines but its not necessary... it seems like i am already dumping too much money into this project... i only decided to do it since my front driver side caliper seized and i said screw it, if im gonna spend the money, may as well go all the way...

WTF?! I was only able to find them for $500 a pair!! Then again, I couldn't find OEM ones and those were Comptech calipers...

I know what you mean about the computer thing, I stare at an LCD ALL DAY and all night. Hurts my eyes...

this guy right here did. i've done pretty much every panel on the car but the most dramatic change was definitely doing the wheel wells.

as far as plans go, i'm replacing my back 2 rotors, pads, and one caliper this week since my rear right brake decided to seize up. after spending $400+ on that, i'm done. i just enjoy my car as a DD, i'm not trying to make it into something it isn't, plus i plan on replacing it soon with a E46.

hahahahahahahahahahaha

i did get the last set of na1's in the usa.. they are waiting for cores.. But i sent them s10 calipers for cores,,

They do however have na2's which are for the larger nsx shit with different offset..

My dude tried to get some for his prelude the next day, and got the same result also. Try hondatech, maybe some rich ass coke dealer put a rotora kit or some shit on his nsx and threw the stock ones away..

look into bore size, and see if you can do some other kind of piston also.. your gonna be limited to power you can make with the joe dirt compression on the 3.5.. Also webcam made a custom cam for some dude with the ringling brothers looking yellow legend on the legend forums.. I bet you could scoop that cam up cheap, and the valvesprings.

headders and downpipes would really free up shit also, if you dont already have them.. If so what are you sporting?

I really need to chill on this shit man.. Its like drugs to me though, i just cant stop thinking of shit.. Just this morning in the shower i was thinking of the overall motor layout and making a custom bellhousing to put a trans to it.. Make it rear wheel drive. That would be so sweet. RWD, tube the frame rails and put 2 big ass turbos on it.. It would be like a chaser.. haha.. I just really like the bodystyle personally. That and no one even knows what the hell kind of car it is. I get asked it all the time. Ive been asked if it was a 4 door skyline a few times. haha..

JE and CP will make you pistons for like 70 bucks more than normal for whatever bore size you need.. id check to see that the bore is different than the 3.2.. Im thinking perhaps its not and its just a bigger crank.. If its just a larger stroke crank by .3 liters, then you can get like nsx pistons, or a forged high compression piston for a legend or a nsx.. Then your fucking talking power dude.. With that much displacement, and a cam to open it up more and valvetrain to rev higher, i see 300whp doable. However then you and i will need to work on fabbing the 6 or 5 speed in there which honestly I see being a cake walk.

I really want to do it, i just have a new love for a few other projects.. If only i were more wealthy.. hehe..

Keep me informed.

then do a nsx piston in the 3.5 block and a webcam setup.. if it cleared the valves, you would have one bad ass motherfucker.

The WebCams are a re-grind though, so you'd have to find a pair first. They have a Type I regrind also so if you sent in the original TL cams, they'd do those. Not as good as the Type II regrind, but still something. If you want them hard-welded it'll cost a little over $1000, though.

Colt was thinking about it awhile ago, and I posted the schemas in the other thread. I'm thinking Ken might want to go to a beefier converter before a manual, though...

Manual tranny for sure. They are hard to find, so i'd take the 5 speed if forced to. The difference is actually not all that much when it comes down to it.
