Alpine CDA-9835
Speakers and Subs:
Boston Acoustics SL60 front 6.5-inch components
Boston Acoustics NX95 Coaxial 6x9's
1 JL Audio 12-inch W3 in a "Custom" built sealed enclosure
Amps and electronics:
Kicker KX 350.2 2-channel amp (fronts) (crossed over at 100 Hz)
Kicker KX 250.2 2-channel amp (rears) (crossed over at 80 Hz)
Kicker KX 600.1 Mono sub amp (crossed over at 80 Hz)
Stinger 1-farad capacitor
Custom false floor, carpet matching the sub enclosure. A two-channel amp on each side, bolted at an angle to the floor. the mono amp is in the center bolted to the floor in front of the sub enclosure.
I also installed a custom volt meter on the center console using a Dremel to shave out the whole. it is located directly to the left of the shifter (in the wood panel) when in the Park position. I matched the blue LED display with LED lighting underneath the dash, and in the trunk. I'll post pics sometime.

a carputer would be amazing, what do you do with yours? I'll find the pics in my camera and post them on here soon. I live in Iowa, so the system isn't as exciting in he winter, but it's a decent system.

I'm new to posting pictures, sorry for the mistakes, haha.
The deck picture is a little dark, i just took these photos. The sub is in a large sealed box, and is nothing "Over the top". It'll play in proportion to as loud as my speakers will play cleanly, which is pretty loud. It took me a whole week to re-do my system, i'll post pics of what it was like before. I work everyday and am a full-time student, so i worked some long nights on it. I have no trunk space, it kinda sucks, but it's definitely worth it.

The voltage meter was one off a Stinger Digital Voltage Battery Clamp, but the screw-down threads stripped, rendering he terminal useless. i took the meter out and decided to put it down by the shifter. it was easy to do, just power and ground. It's cool because it is real-time. When i turn the system up, the voltage drops a little bit, and i can tell by how much. It's mostly for looks though, it looks great at night. I put it down where i couldn't see it as well when driving; it is REALLY bright at night. It wasn't a perfect cut, but's it's pretty damn close. It took me a couple hours alone to cut the whole as perfectly square as i could. i have to paint the top edge brown a little bit because when i dremelled it stripped out a bit, showing the raw material. tell me what you guys think! My camera isn't that great, so sorry he pictures suck

I have pioneer 6.5 in the front, sony xplode 6x9 in the rear deck. 2 twelve inch visonik subs in the trunk with a visonik amp. Oh yeah, and a panasonic head unit. The system bangs pretty well but I am going to get a new sub and amp for christmas. Can't wait.

mids and highs, look into focal, diamond, rainbow, alpine (spx series), infinity, digital design, vifa, ... some of those may be a bit pricey but well worth it if you have a seperate amp to push it.

Good point, any good speaker needs (Needs) NEEDS an external amplifier. It not about sound quality, it's about sound quality at higher volumes, as well as bass. a deck cannot control a speaker as well as high-quality external amp.
