i was curious if i can change out the shift knob on my 96 TL, and if so do you know the thread pitch ect so i can tap a new shifter.

You've got to stop making new threads for questions that have been answered many times before! IB even added the giant search box at the header to make it easier to search.

That being said, it's 10mm x 1.50. Use shift knobs meant for manuals, not automatics.
