I'm impressed

I'm glad there r people like u that are willing to help . I'll clean the throttle body and cross my fingers.

Seaneric8 05-23-2017 03:07 PM

Finger cross didn't work.

Cleaned throttle body .... No change . Still have the fluctuating / surging idle when driving when foot off gas and slowing .low idle in park.

Did you happen to replace it with an OEM IACV? If that didn't fix it, you may have a vacuum leak somewhere. Also be sure to check that the intake hose is still intact

Got the iacv valve from salvage ....cleaned it up as well as possibly could be . Intake hose in tact . Will do another check for vaccum leaks.

Leak free

I did another check for vacuum leaks I'm completely leak free tight as hell .any other suggestions you can think of are welcome

A NEW IACV perhaps

Seaneric8 05-25-2017 02:01 PM

Any thoughts on where to find one that is new I haven't been able to in my neck of the woods consider myself lucky to find the one at the Salvage yard

I might also add that every once in awhile it seems to catch and seem like it's right again I can't really explain the intermittent nature of what's going on

Could it be stuck carbon on EGR? Try cleaning EGR maybe?
