Hi,

I have read all through the site, there are quite a lot of info..but no step by step information or manaul..I downloaded the some service manual from this site but..it doesnt contain the EGR prot clean up pages.. Help me..

Mileage is near to 20 miles mostly highway. I got a Engine Check light P0140. I used to get 24 miles in city.

Thanks for your reply... Mine is 1998 Acura TL3.2... I have mileage 142K.

After I read all trhough the links..I think its for Lengend and RL. It is similar to TL setup. Can I do a EGR clean up without removing intake manifold.This is how I planned to do it...
1)Try to get only EGR Pipe..Selenium pipe and clean it..if it doesn't solve the issue
2)Then I will remove the EGR System and clean...if it doesn't solve the issue
3)Lastly intake manifold.

they are both the same 3.2 and 3.5 same engine but different Hp..i did the egr pipe before its a pain in the ass to get in there..bunch of cut for me..but give it a try make sure u buy carb cleaner for it..or try seafoaming the car. you can search on the 2nd gen tl for that seafoam.

Man..the screw are so rusted... it's really pain in the ass. I have to get some rust cleaners..I will do that next week.

Seafoaming is really good option..what is the difference between fuel injector and seafoaming..
