no start no crank help
 

i have a 96 3.2tl i just reinstalled the motor after doing rear main seal and oil pan gasket. after i hooked everything up. the car wouldnt start.
When i reconnectd the battery the cluster illumination light and the turn signals were flashing, immedately i thought it was an alarm problem so i chased my tail trying to figure out
the problem. i tried a bunch of methods: disconnecting the connector from alarm control unit and jump two specific wires, that didnt work, another method was to remove
the door panel and jump a three pin connector to let the car know i was unlocking the door with the key, That didnt work, then i thought maybe it was the park/neutral safety
switch i checked that. that didnt work. then finally by the grace of god for no reason whatssoever. it started. now it wont start again.
ive checked the s post wire and when i turn the key turn no voltage to the wire.
ive checked the starter and it works.

now im leaning towards the ignition switch? could this be a faulty ignition switch.? if so how do i go about testing it?

ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated.

This is late but for others it may be useful.
Ignition module was the problem for my 1998 2.5 TL - it went bad also had the main relay serviced. Prior to this my car would not start, but cranked.
