Looks good man, where did you get the mirror from? I can't tint my windows and always seem to have a problem with lights in the rear view at night

Good job, m8. Had one in the old Grand Cherokee Limited before...it was covered up with a Broadway, hehe. I need the wider viewing angle with tinted glass. Would love to have a compass, though...

~Cheers~

Ebay man! 65 shipped!! even comes with the free button to mount it with! do a search on ebay for a gentex genk2... thats what i got. it was super simple man. just ran the power to an add-a-circuit and put that in to where the power sunroof is! grounded it to the bolt right next to the fuses! tucked the wires away under the trim! easy!

the wiring is easy. i did it the same way when i installed my radar detector to my sunroof and mounted the detector next to my mirror. its really hard for cops to see it.

the ones I saw uses glue to stick it on the window.

thats what i did. the way i look at it, id rather take a metal mirror button, glue it to the window, and have an auto dimming mirror... than to keep the old 1980's mirror our TL's have. they make our cars look super old IMO. now mine has Navi and an auto dimming mirror... i feel alittle newer! easy mod too!

haha...I'm glad you've got it installed without problems!!! However, I bought a mirror that was taken out from a Cadillac Deville on eBay for only $20 shipped.

Anyways...I love the mirror so much, I actually spent $180 for this:

Yup! Straight from Honda's accessory section. It includes a compass (aha...) but not a temp gauge because it'd be totally redundant (temp gauge is in the odometer in my car)

Oh yeah...it was easy. It took me about 30 minutes to get everything wired up and waited a day or two for the glue to cure. For my Accord, it took me literally 10 minutes to get everything installed. Apparently Honda installed a harness specifically for the autodimming mirror for models with leather seating (EX-L, EX-V6, and Hybrids). All I had to do is to take the overhead console out and plug it in. So freakin' easy!!! I've also bought their accessory fog lights and got the lights, switch, and all the wirings installed in about 2 hours. I didn't even have to pull any wires through the firewall. People at Honda are geniuses!!!

yes there is some that have the temp abd compass. i opted to not get that kindab ecause it was 65 for mine.... like 250 for that one plus my navi tells the temp and shows the direction so it was not needed anyway

Wow...that sounded so sarcastic!! J/K!!!

If you guys are getting a mirror with temp and compass, be sure to get the whole wiring harness for the temperature sensor that is supposed to be mounted behind the front grill. Also be sure it's the same year of that car or it may not work correctly.

Not trying to be an ass or anything but there's really nothing special about having the mirror button glued to the windshield, IMO. If you look at every other car, there's a mirror stuck onto the windshield so there's nothing really special about it. Shoot, even my Accord has that too.
