My TL records...

I have EVERY service record EVER done on this car. My uncle found them and gave them to me the other day. Man, they were meticulous. Everything done at the dealer, notes galore, window sticker and all.

It was neat sifting though. They had a new Evaporator installed at 9k because of a musty, mildew smell.

They asked about the ABS module noise (the buuuuuuurrrp on cold start ups). Dealer said it was a noisy A/C system since they couldn't reproduce the sound.

They even had the wipers done at the Dealer. Wow.

I have done the following since I got it exactly a year ago with 92k miles.
Currently have 120k.

-Timing belt, water pump, pully, T-stat (done at shop)
-Radiator was cracked. Bought an Ebay replacement for $100 installed myself.
-New CV axle shaft (shop)
-Tail light gasket for leaky trunk
-Transmission Pan drop---filter replaced and new fluid.
-Differential drain and refill
-Coolant flush
-New speakers and head unit.
-Clay bar, water spot removal, polish, and waxed. Waxed at least 6 times!
-MANY oil changes.

Wow, it's nice to have complete records. I think the first owner also did everything at the dealer for mine, and I saw the records on their computer once.

~Cheers~

That's really something.
When I bought the car new, I always kept all the records.

Now, it's mostly DIY, or cheapest place in town for any repair ..lol.

Nice to have all the records. When I went to Acura to see if I could get the 150,000 mile service I found out that my car was originally sold in Palm Beach and it made its way up the east coast and into my driveway 13 years later.

It's definitely nice to have service records, it adds quite a bit of value to any used car.

I can look up RO's for Honda's and mazda's so I looked my 6 up in our database at work. Can't see what service was done, but I see that all the oil changes were done on time at the dlr.

^Because I'm sure that 95% of this board hasn't had their TL since new....and more than likely don't have the service records.

I see your point but it's not like this page can't use some conversation. It's usually pretty dead in here.....

Well then stop reading it.

This thread can be useful to track repairs, reliability, and cost of ownership. Everyone else seem to be somewhat interested. I have EVERY service record on a 13 year old car. You can't tell me that this is common.
