1996 TL Motor Swap
I want to swap my 1996 Acura TL 2.5 motor and tranny out and swap it with a complete 3.2 motor and matching tranny. Is this a straight bolt in swap?

I'd be surprised if it was a simple bolt in; if your Acura is anything like the similar vintage Accord, the engine is oriented on the left side of the engine bay, the V6 is oriented with the engine on the right side. I'm thinking it would be better/faster/cheaper to simply sell your 2.5 TL and buy a 3.2 version.

I just looked it up, and contrary to my previous post, the 1G TL does not use transverse engine mounting schemes, it uses a longitudinal mount scheme. That said, the engine compartments for the 2.5 liter I5 and the 3.2 liter V6 are very different; dropping in a 3.2 V6 in place of the I5 will be a huge undertaking.

Because the chassis is different in the 2.5 with the 3.2. The system suspensión is different too.
So... in your position, I sell the car and buy a 3.2 TL...
