is it me or does the mesh grill have blemishes on it from like 20-30 ft. away? i look at it close up but doesn't seem like it does. hmm. anyone notice this too? probably just an illusion though, but its sorta ugly, with these blemishes.

I haven't seen blemishes 20-30 feet but depending on the bug casuality on a given day
you may see smudges at 1-5 ft.
I usually clean with a rag and windex.
