LED inspire tails *pics*

I came across these custom inspire tails. Not exactly sure if they're jdm b/c I see lights on the side of the brake part. My inspire tails had no holes for it so i had to drill one out. Cool none the less huh?

BTW, where did you find them and for how much? The quality looks good and the alignment is spot on! I like how the winker LEDs are slightly angled to either side as that's where you want to light shine anyhow, hehe. Not really feeling the amber sidemarkers but they still look good!

~Cheers~

::EDIT:: I found the guy. And let me be the first to say, "TAKE~~~!!"

It's available in Japan, for almost USD$600. I *COULD* make some, but I'd need a set of spare tails, specifically Inspire tails, to work on them since the winker area is clear.

~Cheers~

P.S. "Take~" is pronounced "tah-kehhh" roughly translating to "fucking expensive."

I'd pay $10.

To put them on, take a picture, then take them off. But then again, the guy probably did spend alot of time making them, and he mainly makes them for Celsiors so it'd be a bit harder to make up the cost with us lowly Inspires...

He'll only ship to Japan. If anything I'll try to get in touch with him and have him send them to me, then I'll send them out to you. Are you sure you want to pay that much, though?

Yup!! It's my '06 Accord. Now it's a car that I never drive anymore because I have a company car ('06 Chrysler Sebring Touring), which is centuries behind my Accord. I replaced the reverse lights and license plate lights with white LED's too. I also bought a pair of Inspire (or USDM Hybrid) tails. They'll be here hopefully next week so I can put them on next weekend. I can't wait!!

Those tailights are exactly what I've been looking for to update my TL with a more modern look. Looks like a lot of 1st gen members are interested, so see if you can organize a group buy or something, so that we can get them for a more reasonable price.

I agree, I would more so be interested in some black housing headlights though. I looked on the net through E-bay and a huge assortment of car parts websites to come up empty handed. I found black housing headlights for 92 civics, but nothing for our cars?

There's a driver side... uh... passenger side for US black housing headlight on eBay right now, and it's been there for awhile... I guess it's a good backup...

OK, back to the topic at hand! I need to know how many people actually want these tails, and what's the top of your price range. I'll have someone meet the guy if anything to dicuss how low he can go as far as pricing is concerned, then we'll figure out shipping. Remember to factor in shipping in your budget, as that will be a big part of the total cost. ATM, he's asking for roughly $600. Even if we could talk him down to $500, shipping with insurance by EMS from Japan will cost almost $100, too. Basically be prepared to shell out $600+ regardless.

~Cheers~

P.S. He's no longer offering them for sale, but we'll see what my guys can do.

unless its shipped in a big box and he can fit maybe 3-5 pairs of lights per box then you all can split the shipping cost.

I was considering shipping each pair to the respective buyer, but if a few of you live close enough to each other, then a few in one box wouldn't be an issue. Biggest problem now, though is seeing if he has stock and is willing to sell them all to us.

~Cheers~

I prefer the LED's that are being used in the new accord.

..By the way, does anyone know the LED's bulb size inside of Accord's Tail light?
Thanks.

I'd be interested in this taillight. I was going to go Inspire tails, but those look damned nice. (My wife will kill me, but I'll live...maybe...)
