not to sound like a dick, because that does look really good, but isn't that the same thing as painting the chrome on the stock grille and then putting mesh behind it?
(btw, i realize yours is a 3.2)

1- to get it color matched to my paint, I paid the paint dude at the dealership 40 bucks cash to paint it and he did a really good job.... he had to sand and paint it, which I think would probably cost a lot more if he was trying to do it with chrome (if that's even possible).
2- the frame of the inspired grille is a lot wider and more distinct than the stock grille.... I think if you tried to just paint the chrome frame of the stock grille black, it would just look silly.
3- the only way to get mesh behind your stock grille like it is above is if you cut out the vertical slats, which could get messy.
Other than that, thanks for the props

Your grille looks good.... so that's what it would look like if you just painted the stock grille, nice work
