Inspire Taillight
Hey guys! Finally a forum for 1st gen TLs!! Found this site like a month ago and since there is a forum for 1st gen TLs, I had to post!! I read the post about custom taillights, and I wanted to warn people who want to buy the inspire taillights from this website that it's not ALL CLEAR on the bottom. Inside the taillight, there is a yellow cover inside!! I was disappointed when I got the lens. I took the yellow cover out and that was a pain in the @ss! Used a dremel to cut the yellow cover into pieces and dumped out the pieces through the hole where the bulb goes!!! BUT the hard work paid off and now I have ALL CLEAR on the bottom and it looks SWEET! Only one on the road hehehehe....my turn signal is white though and the cops haven't said anything about it soooo......it's cool! I'll post a pic up soon and show yall!

no offense or anything but dude you just paid proly 500 bucks for tail lights
i bought a can of paint and mid my lenses all red

Yeah....I paid $500 for it 
BUT I HAD TO DO IT!! i'm a car freak like that! LOL love my car too much! 
i'll do anything to make my TL to stand out from the rest of the TLs out here!

wow that's cool, i have the inspire lights and i have to admit i was dissapointed also. I didn't know how to get that little plastic yellow piece out. I was thinking about taking it apart and then gluing it back together but that'd take way too much effort. HOw did you get all that plastic out through that little hole?

Yeah.....I used a dremel tool to cut the yellow cover into thousands of pieces!! I didn't want to open up the taillight and glue it back together, so i used the dremel tool and to rip the yellow cover to shreads to fit throught the small hole! LOL

I want the tailights also, but I refuse to pay 500.00 for them, When i ahd an extra 500 I got nitrous. Now thats what I call gettin the most bang for your buck...And whats up with the guy who spray painted his tail light red? Dude post pic, cause what I am imagining looks f-ed up.....
