Im back! This time with new CEL codes
96 3.2 with 118k on it. I bought it from 1st owner and car fax shows everything ever done to car at a dealership in flordia, down to the oil changes every 3000 miles.
Car is prestine, but started throwing all the codes from the extended warranty, and Acura will not help, and I will not pay them 2k to change out 5 hours of work and a couple sensors.
Ive got a few codes and car is running rough at idle and under 2k rps.
Ive got cel and tcs comes up after driving a while...
I have these codes
misfire on 1 2 3 and random misfire
downstream heater circuit
egr p0104 (clogged egr port i assume)
also, stored code in transmission is for downsteam o2
when all codes are cleared and scanned again, it only stores the o2 one.
Ive replaced all plugs, and a burnt coil on #3
Car runs fine when above 2k and if at idle and running choppy/shaky you can depress the gas until 1000 rpm's and everything smooths
Im goina change the fuel filter and clean the egr stuff this weekend...
Is there something before the coilpacks that controls the firing?
On my vr4 it have a PTU which tells the injectors when to fire...
