Like I said in the other post, black housing headlights would look nice. If you want to fix, search for DIY sanding and re-clearing procedures. Is it me or the doors a different shade of black compared to the rest of the car?

For the headlights you canb wet sand then polish them, but you have to put on some sort of protectant after.

JustnSpace is right.

The original colour looks so much better except for the horrendous overspray in the lower grill.

~Cheers~

I love the original color of the car.
fix the grill, change out the emblem to a normal one and you'd have a great looking ride!

looked way better before that "paint job". save up and get it done right. your ride has alot of good potential though with the rare parts and other JDM parts you can add to the mix. keep us updated on any progress. i want to see how this car blossoms....

you mean bloom xD .. but yeah its gonna take some time to peel everything off ... im adding honda emblems instead of acura. cause i rather have a JDM look instead of a USDM, as well fixing up the inside. just gotta remind my self to take pictures to show you all improvements. so fare, what do y'all see that is rare?

call me a hater but idk what the big deal is with trying to be jdm by putting a honda emblem on an Acura. Yes Acura is made by honda but why fake the funk. I mean i could understand if u wanted to upgrade by why downgrade? I will never take the Cadillac emblem off my Escalade and put a Chevy Bowtie on the grille or the rear hatch.

but back to your ride....I would never have took a rattle can to the exterior...u should save and have it done right...I could tell u did it yourself by looking at the hood. Like they said, your ride does have a lot of potential. I wish my tl had that kit. I'm jealous.
ps. i like the Umbrella Corp emblem jealous of that too.

rare...1. definitely the body kit is rare. 2. you already have the JDM taillights. 3. you have the Inspire JDM badging. 4. im not 100% sure but the front side markers might be JDM(i think the real JDM ones are amber) 5. it also looks like you have rear bumper side markers..ive never seen that on a 1st gen. 6. eyelids. 7.mesh lower grill. your uncle did hook you up with some cool parts. you dont necessarily need JDM headlights...just bake open your USDM's and paint'em black. i would have never bought my JDM headlights because of the fucked up beam pattern.(i should have known) and get some 17 or 18 inch rims and youll have one of the slickest TL's around.

Hmm, I'm starting to think that your uncle once was a lurker on this forum. Anyways, you got a steal with all the parts pro_found973.2TL named above and possibly more that are not visible. Nice progress and congrats on the graduation!

Yes... 15 cans, I had the dip on for 2 months, now I peeled it off today cause I got bored of black matte. And I like my original color more now... Not as boring as the black ... How do yall like the interior and under the hood/trunk?

Look around for signs of fluid leakage. It has to be noticeable loosing that much per week, and I know because I am too myself haha.

didn't wanna be a dk yesterday but glad you got rid of the dip...looks better in oem color. I honestly think, if you classed it out...maybe even VIP'd it...you'd be in business...repair/polish the headlights and paint, remove some of the body kit (unless you love it) and get some new normal chrome badges for the car...
You're driving a modern day classic!

i love my body kit, its one of a kind and hard to find in this modern day world , its RARE .. and besides im putting new emblems , Honda , so i can have a legit Jdm look to it instead of USDM.theres gonna be red and silver. im putting on rsx wheels this saturday and leave it oem color size 16. i dont think im going to VIP it, i don't even know what that means, im only 19 xD. and im getting the 3M head light restore for my headlights since i hear its really good .

Quick Reply: i dipped my car.... x)
