I've been driving BMW for the whole time. TL just sat in garage waiting for engine swap for the whole time. Now that engine is out of the 97 and car is gone to the crusher I have to do the swap now.

She's officially back on daily duty. Brought her back home yesterday after swap and some fresh rubber on 16" S2000 rims and alignment. Pics soon.

Most people aren't anal car forum surfers... What people on a car forum consider clean and what a "regular" person considers clean is miles apart. A $5 car wash and almost no rust passes the clean test for most.

I'm still lost. Did you buy another TL or your sisters...LOL. I can't wait to see what you're doing behind closed doors. 1st Gen TL is a nice car. My mom almost bought one back in 96. I love how the tweeters sit in the roof near the sunroof. I've always wondered how the imaging was in this set-up Acura did in this car.

Unfortunately, that's not even it. There's one with scrapes, dents, faded trim, those stupid football flags that clip to the window, and a carpet that looks like a cheetah, with a $5000 price tag. The rest are salvaged, and generally just pieces.

I found this one. It looks pretty clean, minus the wheels that are put the wrong way(?), the wrong carpets, the aftermarket stereo, and the hood which appears to have been badly repainted. The grill looks OK, even though it's not original. Thoughts? Worth the $3500 price tag?

He just did light 50% tint over them. Most do 20% but not me. I'm doing 50 for a light tasteful tint over the brake lights. Those do indeed look good. Nice S2k wheels too. Looks great on the 1st gen TL's.
