Have any of you had this problem?

Hello there.
Over a period of time i've had no start issues usually always the first time i start the car for the day. What happens is, that as i turn the key into the 3rd position (start) there is either a lagg for the car to start, or it just wont start up sometimes.

So picture this ...
You turn your key, and as you hold it in the 3rd position, the fuel pump buzzes, dash light are on & bright as well as all accesories but the car wont start.
About 7 times out of 10, holding the key to crank the engine for about 1 minute will aloow me to start the car up no problems.

Would any of you have any advice or expirience on what this could be? I can only think of a faulty ignition switch as the starter was recently replaced due to the same symptoms.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Most likely the electrical side of the ignition switch.

Took out & replaced ignition switch today. Will see if the problem persists as its interment. looking at the pictures, the old ignition switch seems to be after market. It looks intact as well

Having that sensor go out would cause your car to drive terribly (stalling), too, not just not start.
