Hail Damage!!
Need to vent! Just had a hailstorm pass by a couple hours ago. I just had her repainted to flawless condition too. Oh, and here's the worst part... liability only!! FML

Yeah, we are not accustomed to this kind of weather condition. There hasn't been a hailstorm like this around here in decades. The street was literally white like snow just fell for hours. In fact, the car hasn't seen hail for the past 17 years of its life. Just my luck... Will see how bad it is when morning comes.

How big were the hailstones? I've been in a few hailstorms here with no problems, but from videos I've seen of hailstones elsewhere they're the size of baseballs.

They were around ~2.5" hailstones. My neighbor told me this is the first time he'd seen something like this for the past 25 years that he'd live here. I've got estimates of around $8K in damage to the TL. She would have been totaled if I had comprehensive anyways, still my loss and I don't think I'll fix it...

I'll upload some when I get home tonight. I was very fortunate that I didn't get holes in my windshield like others down the street had.

It's fairly difficult to capture hail damage in photos. You can see in one of the pics that I haven't even had a chance to put my windshield trim back on from the recent paint job. Anyways here are some quick shots from my phone...

There are literally hundreds of dents on the top. I don't think I want to put filler all over my car, lol. If its going to be done, it will be PDR and only fill the places where they can't get to it. I've been quoted for around the $8k range.

They can be pulled out still and a little metal work and just a little filler ti make it extra clean...... Dam i would do it for cheaper..... Lol 8k omg.........

This is exactly my point! It's going to stay like this until further notice unless I can get it fixed for cheap. I'm just pissed because of the fresh paint job.
