H&R Lowering Springs for 96 2.5TL
Hi everyone,
I have a 96 2.5TL with a little over 85,000 kms on it. I am planning on lowering it asap. I was looking into the Eibach Sportline, but I've read some so-so reviews.
I noticed in this forum https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-103/finally-some-part-numbers-springs-shocks-744440/ that H&R springs can be used on the 2.5TL. The part number is: 50103
I called H&R to confirm but they said that they don't make springs for the 1996 2.5TL. I also noticed that Tire Rack has these same springs. Has anyone used H&R on their 2.5TL? Was this the part number?
Thanks guys,

H&R does NOT make springs for 1st Gen 2.5TLs
Ok, thought I'd give everyone an update - H&R does not make springs for 1st Gen TLs. I spoke to someone from H&R and Tire Rack, both confirming this.

I have an interesting story: I found TEIN springs for the 96 Honda Inspire. Apparently TEIN discontinued production. I spoke to a rep and they said they could reproduce these springs for me at a cost of CDN $600. Seems a bit uneconomical, considering you can get Ground Controls for US $400.

Oh you're right! They didn't mention. They just said they could reproduce the Honda Inspire springs. I'm thinking of just getting some Eibach Sportlines…1.7" all round, or save up for Ground Controls.
