Guaging Interest
I was wondering if anyone was interested in the glowing H4 bulb base rings. They're similar to the mini-neon halos that Binky posted awhile back, but these don't need electricity as they as glow-in-the-dark. It slips over your H4 bulb and charge when your headlights are on. When you shut off your headlights, these will glow a bluish-green for awhile after (~30-60 min.). I can get them to you for USD$20. Free shipping by USPS letter (without packaging) and about $5 with Priority (for those who want that JDM-tyte-yo packaging ). I'm not sure if they're still available but they were today, and there was about 10 pairs left.

I'll try to get a pic, but like I said, they might not be available anymore, and I won't be here long enough to wait for a restock. I'll try to see if I can't get them tomorrow.

To install, just remove the bulb and slip this over the top so it sits on the base. That pretty much sums it up.
I'll see if I can't get it = I'll see if I can get it.

P.S. Unfortunately, they only make them for the H4 bulb.

Blast, these are for the headlights, not the fogs... My bro had something similar for fogs, but the rings were in the housings themselves, and not on the bulb.

Yes, these are for any H4 bulb. It's the main bulb in our cars. On dial-up ATM, so if I'm slow in replying or going on the boards, sorry!

Did you put these on your car yet? And do they actually glow??
I got a pair of these from Advance Auto Parts once (I think the brand was APC) but after I put them on, they didn't really glow like they were supposed to....

I tried today, and since I have Hi/Lo HIDs, they won't fit. My high beam bulb gets in the way because it's on the side of the HID bulb. I'll take a pic of it on a regular H4, for comparison, though. Now, It will glow because I tested them using the blacklight on my lighter, and they glow pretty damn brightly. The rings latch on to the base are are very secure (I had trouble geting them off, hehe). Pics will follow shortly!

It's just something different. I went to Red Lobster last night and it was more noticeable in the parking lot, and gave off a nice effect. However, I think that you have to see it in person to really appreciate it.

You have to have a really good camera to capture their effect... the pics i took in the above post were with a FREE digital camera haha
