End of the road
Sadly, I replaced my '96 3.2TL yesterday. With 235K miles, the vehicle has lots of cosmetic defects, but what knocked it out was the blower motor seizing. I've lost my heater and defroster and the dealer repair costs are just too much! I thought about using the seat heaters and a 12V defroster fan, but opted for a new car instead. I always thought it would be the engine or transmission that would force retirement, but they are running great with 25 MPG.
I plan to take a 1500 mile journey in late December for old time's sake, then the car's going to auction and will collect about $1000-$1500.

Sad to hear it... How about taking a journey over to CA if TM buys your car? Maybe get the car plus your airfare back home? At least you'll know it'll be in good hands, and it won't get lifted to fit 22's. TM gets the 3.2 he's been looking for, and you have some cash for the new car. Everyone wins!

I'm driving east (not west) if I don't sell it before Christmass. I listed it on Craig's list today and expect it to sell quickly since it's a great car (when it's above 32º).
