Question Double-Din Metra Kit

Hello guys maybe someone with experience can help me out. I recently decided to buy a double din stereo head unit (Pioneer FHX-700BT) instead of staying with the original stock head unit (finally! ). I purchased the Metra double-din radio kit at Fry's Electronics for about 20 bucks and as soon as I took out the plastic pieces I couldn't figure out how to use them. Personally I feel like I got ripped off.

I need help!!!! Do I still use the original aluminum bracket along with this kit? Can anybody help/suggest anything? I don't know how to install this.

if you bought a double din like you said then you dont need a kit at all. now if you bought a single and a din and pocket set up then they can be wierd how the go together. post pics of your pieces and i bet i can tell you how real quick.
