Angel eyes
My angel eyes are done and what a nice improvment it made . I plan on posting some pics soon (once I get done with this long stretch at work). It was a pain in the ass tho. My mechanic had to rip the Bumper and grill off just to get the headlight housing out.

Photobucket, then use the supplied [IMG] code. Are they perfectly round? Or are they a rounded rectangle to go around our main reflector area? Do you have rings around the fogs as well? All these questions could and would be answered with a pic!! Haha...

For the People who asked , They are Round ,I ordered a Unerversal Set of Angel eyes off E-bay for about 60 Bucks . They came with 2 larger and 2 smaller angel eye rings , which worked perfect for the sizes I needed . The larger ones had plastic around the "eye" which made it great for attaching them to the inside housing .

Any blue light visible from the front of your car is illegal everywhere unless you are emergency personnel, like a firefighter going to a fire.
It all depends on whether or not a cop feels like pulling you over....

how did you have them wired up? do they turn on when your parking lights come on or did you get a switch installed? you should take a day time picture close up because i cant really picture how that circular halo looks on the oval hi/lo beam housing.

For the Grill I just went and bought those "chrome" door marker strips (that u put on the side of your car door too keep them from getting banged up )and put them over the grill and 60 bucks for the angel eyes , Which I think i am going to be taking out soon , since everyone keeps saying there illegal. lol But they look phat as hell....

Forget those terms, just search for blue lights. Only allowed colours up front should be white and yellow, and white, yellow, and red in the rear.

Here's the PA law regarding equipment standards.... http://members.aol.com/StatutesP3/75.Cp.45D.html
Section 4572 (a) is on "flashing or revolving blue lights"
I would say that since your halos aren't flashing or revolving, you'd be okay.... but Section 4572 (c) says:
Since the word "similar" is thrown in there, it's up to the cop's discretion. If you did get a ticket for it, you could fight it but I bet the judge would say sorry and refer you to that one word.... similar.

i say those lights are about as illegal as dark tints on front windows, most cops won't ticket for it, and if you have a friend that's a cop or knows cops you can most likely get out of it anyway

BMWs were the ones that started it, and as a factory part, they researched all applicable laws. Besides, the BMW ones are nowhere near as blue, and if they are, the owner probably swapped them out with a DDE Raptor kit. Todd, try installing a separate kill switch for the lights. If you see a cop, hit it to cut the halos. I mean, better safe than sorry, right?
