Accident v2.0

So remember when I got hit in the driver side quarter on my way to participate in the Battle of the Imports NorCal vs. SoCal?

Well, I got hit in the passenger side now.

Some girl "didn't even see" me (how could you not?!) and backed into my quarter and bumper with her Merc.

I was stopped at a red light, and I saw it happen from my side view mirror... It was like, no... No, no, NO, NO!!! *crunch*. Pics soon.

~Cheers~

P.S. The last time, ordering a new quarter panel from Honda Japan cost $7000 painted. I can't afford to do the same this time around... I guess based off of what her insurance is going to say, look for a part out soon... .

Holy fawk, kill that bitch. I am so sorry to hear that bro, why shit happens to you every once in a while. Can't you get parts from some junk yard or buy another car and stuff everything in there. That is so fucked up.

^ I could, but with my plans for the near future, I think a part out would be best. It's really not that bad, but since it's the quarter and I absolutely refuse to Bondo ANY part of my car, the costs will be astronomical.

Yes, it was $7,000 shipped and painted to match. I couldn't afford to paint the entire car, so I painted half.

Also, lightning actually struck me 3 times, haha. My car was stolen once.

Thats fucked up. Well if she is saying you backed into her than you should have messed up bumper not quarter panel, if she has messed up bumper and you have fucked up quarter panel than she is at fault....I hope you understand what I am saying, fucking suck at making sentence.

EDIT: still waiting for pics of damage.

I go slideways. In any case, I'm hoping to get some phone calls and sort this out. It's raining now...

Last night at Starbuck's, we walked out towards the car (VIP parking right in front, ) and heard, "Holy crap! Honda Legend!!"

Me: "It's not a Legend, it's an Inspire." The guy goes and starts touching the fender and hood.
Him: "Daaamn, you really take care of your car! It's so shiny and smooth!"
Me:"It was waxed two days ago."
His friend: "Hand or machine?"
Me: "Hand only. I don't trust the machine."
His friend: "Props, man. Props."

In my head, I'm thinking, please don't notice the dent, please don't notice the dent! Please Undyroos, don't magically show up and show me up, haha!! You and your dent-less-ness.

Good times.

~Cheers~

I never really did... It's just that the current situation might require me to, . If I do have to, I'd rather have someone in the AZ family get it and/or the parts. That way we can have some guarantee our cars will stay on the road, and still look good doing so.

~Cheers~

Why don't try to fix it in another way than spending 7 g'z. It's better giving up the car.

^ I'm going to try. In any case...

I rear ended someone today. Almost no damage on my car, but her Civic's bumper is cracked. She brake-checked me when I had my head turned. Thank god I was already slowing down. The thing is, her car's all fucked up already, so I don't really know if I did anything.

~Cheers~

unless you can prove the damage was already there, you will be screwed for the damages...

if there was damage on any metal already, look for rust... this happened to me when someone accused me of hitting her car... i said to the police officer that if i did just hit her car, how would the rust already form on the damage??? acid rain???

So I got off the phone with her about 30 minutes ago. She's trying to make me fix the whole rear end (trunk, etc.). She said, "I'm sorry, but I think I need to go through my insurance. My neck hurts; I think it was whiplashed a little."

I laughed at her and basically told her to rethink the situation. If she wants to play this game, I'll have her nailed to the wall for insurance fraud so fast, her head will be spinning on the stake. An impact at a speed that didn't register on my speedometer, only bent my plate and plate angler, and left no marks on my paint causing whiplash and a shattered rear bumper? Ha.

~Cheers~

I don't think I'm going to really try to ever get another trophy, and I doubt I'll even be able to...

My roof was sat on yesterday night by a drunk friend. It's dented.

^ The money needed to fix my car back to show condition is more than it would cost to buy another one and start new.

Last night, I pulled into my garage and saw my car show trophy. I looked at it, then looked at the dent in my roof and my quarterpanel, and got depressed. I'll never be able to bring my car back to how it was when I got that trophy. Not without throwing gobs of money into it, at least.

~Cheers~

Yea those nissan stanzas are great, you still see them on the streets in Mexico. They take some good abuse. Good choice as your next car.

Hell yeah.

Anyways, I'm thinking along the lines of this:

Only it'd be a real President Sovereign, not a Cima 450XL converted to look like a President Sovereign. I found a few for about 6-7K, and some nicer examples for about 10K.
