car seems to run fine but when it comes time to kick it down and pass it tends to have a delayed reaction (kinda boggy) before it accelerates, then it's like a turbo kicks in.

It has fairly new plugs, wires and coil packs and had the tranny flushed 10k ago.

any ideas what could be causing the bog......... ?

that actually happens to mine too. It kinda shutters before downshifting then goes

Dirty fuel filter, low pressure on the FPR, clogged injectors...

I need to change my fuel filter... Same one AFAIK for 246,8XX miles...

P.S. Sorry to threadjack, but I didn't realise until yesterday that I passed the 10,000 mile mark for the swap! Still purring happily with just under 247,000 miles on the chassis and tranny!!

also try putting in a new air filter. that may help a bit but do remember our car are not sport cars. You can't expect it to kick in as soon as you floor it.
