'96 TL, fluids

My mom took her '96 3.2TL to a local shop for "service" which consisted of an oil change and other fluid drain/refills. I called the place to ask what they did, particularly about the tranny and power-steering fluids. They did the following:

1) Drained the tranny fluid, and refilled with "Mighty" brand Dextron-4 ATF.

2) Drained and flushed the power-steering fluid and refilled with "Wayne Professional" power steering fluid, which he noted they use specifically for Hondas and Acuras.

I know these cars are particular about fluids....is the above ok?

Thanks.

ATF should only be ATF-Z1 from Honda, and I've never heard of "Wayne Professional" brand of anything. Is there a guy named Wayne working there? Maybe it's his preferred brand of power steering fluid.

~Cheers~

Do your mom a favor and get the fluids changed.

Do it before the tranny is damaged.

Hey Arthur (Go), now that is funny...but to the OP, what they did to your mom's car is not.
