What's up guys, just got me a TL. Got all the basics taken care of for now. Now I'm looking to upgrade a few things, starting with the Car Stereo. I'm looking at the DDX319, if anybody has any experience with this deck please post and let me know. The reviews on it are good, but short and scattered.

Also, does any one have a DIY guide to installing? I found a great guide on getting the original deck out, but not installing another one. I'm ok with electronics and stuff, but I'm not even sure if I know where to start. Anyway, please post if you have any information I should know before undertaking this task.

I can't comment on the deck you have posted, but installing it is pretty straightforward. You will need to purchase the vehicle's adapter wiring harness and dash kit before you do anything. After that, it's pretty much matching up the wires as per wiring diagram and figuring out how the kit goes together. Good luck and welcome to 1G TL side!

So yeah,
I bought the Kenwood DDX319 and the wiring harness, and mount kit. Now I'm catching hell with the mount kit. Can anyone give step by step instructions for their use with the mount kit? Because I'm obviously, OBVIOUSLY missing something rather important. Or am stupid

Went with Crutchfield and it was so easy, everything came in with everything you need plus great DIY instructions.

Now enjoying a USB input. Ipod rules. Also sounds 10x better than stock. I added a 10" sub and am happy!

I had a crutchfield sheet that showed me how to install my deck but I tossed it out a few months ago LOL! Ask if some of these guys around here if they still have it. I remember just matching colors and it works, unless you're color blind jk!

FYI, there is a blue plug. That is the wire for the dome tweeters above your head. It'll become useless once you put in an aftermarket deck.
