3.2TL Sway Bars

Because of lack of response on getting Suspension Techniques sway bars made for our TLs, I finally found a racing shop in Vancouver, BC that custom makes them. They recommended a 7/8" diameter one for the rear (possibly 6150 carbon steel) and because it is a front wheel drive, the stock front ones may be okay. If it turns out that the front ones are still too soft, they will change it later.

I have also searched the web about sway bars for front wheel drives and found that some people install larger bars on the back than the front. It depends on the vehicle and the geometry of the sway bars.

I will be getting the rear ones installed next Thursday and will keep you informed. Finally!!

I just called the shop and had to rebook for next Monday. I'll post the results after that. Thanks for asking

Wow, nearly 12 years.....I don't own any of the vehicles I owned 12 years ago. The poster hasn't been here since 2003 according to his profile.
