I am a new 1998 TL 3.2 owner. The car is great but needs some repairs here and there. I have read all the sticky's and done internet searches, so just know that before I ask this


For a first gen Acura 3.2 TL, where can I find what parts are interchangeable with other first gen 3.2 TL years earlier than 1998, or with the Honda Accord or other models?


When I search for parts for the "Acura 1998 TL 3.2", there is sometimes limited availability for what I am looking for, and want to know if the parts are the same for other models to expand my searches

1996 - 1998 3.2 TL stuff is interchangeable.

The 3.2 engine is nearly identical to the 1991 - 1995 Acura Legend motor. The main difference is electronics/emissions, but the hardware is the same.

The 3.5 engine from the 1996 - 2004 RL is also related, it's basically a stroked version with higher quality and better balanced internals.

The body and interior on the 1996 - 1998 2.5 TL is mostly the same from the windshield to the rear, the engine bays and components are totally different.

Try getting one from the 91 - 95 Legend if you cant get it from a TL.
