^ We do actually. I've organised runs on closed sections of highway, and actually, the races with the G were on our way home, on Highway 1. It's just one section of it that runs through the city. That VQ was supercharged before, but the guy doesn't know how to drive and he blew it.

P.S. We had them on Great Highway, Highways 35, 80, 101, 280, 380, 680, and 880,
. There are actually less cars on that stretch of Highway 1 that almost any of the aforementioned freeways.

Oh, and I double checked my burnout strips and I left some FAT rubber, hehe. No one-legger BS!! I'll see if I can't stop during the day and take a photo. Kinda hard since I was in the left lane.

Oh, yesterday, the nut on the AC belt tensioner fell off. 
5 minutes and it was fixed, but the belts were rubbing for about 30 minutes before I could get home. Remember to re-torque after at most 100 miles, people! I was lucky it lasted the 800 it did!

I'm amazed at the results from the swap. Congrats on being the first. It had crossed my mind before to consider a c35 swap when my 3.2 engine dies (currently at 305 000kms), and seeing your videoshas pretty much set it in my mind. Let's hope I have the money

^ Thanks, m8. Still running strong, and I passed the thousand mile mark a couple days ago. Need to do another oil change, and get ready for BOTI!!
Pulled a modded turbo Volvo earlier tonight, asshole cut me off and hit the brakes. I was behind him when the light turned green and while spinning tyres and bouncing over streetcar tracks I cut over to the next lane and walked him badly.

P.S. BOTI = Battle Of The Imports. Coming up on Sunday, it's a NorCal vs. SoCal thing, and the 8 and 9 second drag cars are coming up to race. Should be great and I'll be making a video!

P.P.S. Forgot to add, killed my buddy's BPU TSX 3 times in a row. I sat there spinning tyres for two of the runs and the third was a bit better. 50% throttle on the first two, 25% the third time, still spinning after I took off. I would hook, then lose it, then hook again. I believe there's a vid, but I'm not sure.

Hey nice swap man, I know I'm a little late to the party, but I was on YouTube a month ago and noticed a silver TL with a 3.5 swap doing a sick burnout, the vid was posted about the same time you did the swap, happen to be you by any chance ? And did you put a manual tranny in this beast to ?
