RL headrests
Hi folks,
For those of you with the first gen RL, can you tell me whether the front headrests roll forward? In other words, can the headrest be adjusted a little to the front/back as well as up and down?
I am in a 2003 TL for the time being, but I came from a 1996 Camry that had headrests that adjust forward... Maybe my posture is out of whack, but I miss that headrest like crazy. I was thinking of swapping the headrest out of an RL if it also rolled forward.
Thanks!

The front and rear headrestraints have the tilt feature...though they do look a little awkward
The 2002+ TL-Ps have tilt headrestraint adjustment, however...do you have a Type-S?

Thanks. I have the TL-P.
What do you mean when you say that the 2002+ models have the "tilt headrestraint adjustments"? Are you referring to the "active" head restraint feature that protects in case of whiplash? I was assuming that it was this safety feature that prevented the headrest from tilting forward, but I think I would rather have the day-to-day comfort of a tilting headrest...
Follow-up question - any idea whether the first gen. RL headrests will fit in the 2003 TL?
Thanks again!

SPUDMTN,
Thanks for the reply. After considering your post (after I posted my stupid response), I just went out and fiddled with my car and realized that the headrest indeed tilted forward! I have had this car for a month now and complained from day one and for some reason just overlooked this feature... Thanks again!

Acura has finally gotten on the bandwagon again with this nifty little feature. The new TL has this, the RL does, and hopefully the TSX and MDX will soon, as well. I think the tilt feature is more comfortable and also looks cool...
